Residents of Newmarket our proudly served by the Newmarket School District. With approximately 1,054 students in PK, and K-12, this public school district offers a low student-teacher ratio of 12:1. Newmarket Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High school are also known for being a few of the top rated schools in the state. In addition to our great schools right here, we're only a few minutes away from the University of New Hampshire, located in Durham. UNH has one of the prettiest college campuses you'll ever see!

Founded in 1727, this historic small town has a lot to offer its residents. With a little over 8,900 residents, Newmarket makes it easy to get to know your neighbors. Throughout the year you can enjoy a great variety of events within the community and surrounding area that are sure to be fun for all ages! Popular events include Family Fun Day in Stratham, and the New England Country Music Festival in Portsmouth.
